Join ArchSoc in 2015!

ArchSoc invites you to join our growing membership in 2015! Membership is $15 per year and 2014 members are reminded their fees are due by the 31st of March 2015 to remain current.

We’ve been working hard since the AGM to ensure we have plenty to offer our members in 2015, such as volunteer opportunities, public lectures, and several social events, including the prestigious Diggers Shield Cricket Match. We’re still finalising details, so make sure you come by the O Week stall and chat to us about our plans for this year.

Payment options

Pay via the link on our website. If you pay online, don’t forget to fill in the membership form and send it to, leaving your student number in the comments section of the PayPal checkout (we will need this for FUSA affiliation).

Come down and visit us on stall during O Week (Monday 23rd – Thursday 26th Feb, 10am-3pm, Humanities Courtyard) where you can pay cash if you don’t wish to pay online.

O Week will also be an excellent opportunity to pick up your membership card and meet the incoming 2015 ArchSoc Committee – you can have a look at who’s who here.

All new or renewed memberships for 2015 will remain current until 31 March 2016.

About us

The Flinders Archaeological Society (ArchSoc) is a not-for-profit student-run organisation dedicated to enhancing the experience of archaeology students and to broadening the understanding of heritage amongst the student body and the wider community.

ArchSoc is the largest and most active student-run archaeological society in the country, and every year takes on a wide variety of projects, from organising an annual Quiz night, to field trips, fundraisers and co-ordinating volunteer experience opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students.  You don’t even have to be a student at Flinders to be a member of ArchSoc  – membership is open to anyone, including the general public, high school students and anyone interested in archaeology.

Benefits of membership include discounted access to social events and merchandise, access to field trips and other ArchSoc-run projects, two physical copies of our journal Dig It and much more!
