ArcHSoc is a Flinders University society consisting of students, faculty, and alumni who share a passion and appreciation for history, archaeology, and similar fields. We plan and execute events and opportunities for those who share a common interest in these fields to network and collaborate. Our goal is to create a space for people to have fun and build a community of history and archaeology lovers through our events and programs.

Welcome to Flinders University Archaeology and History Society. In the past, ArcHSoc was a hub for all students who share interests in history and archaeology and all contributions those fields and similar fields make to society. It was once a bustling club with a heavy push to encourage engagement and contribution from members. Since the pandemic and subsequent lockdown, we’ve been working hard to rebuild that reputation. Our new committee members are eager to make ArcHSoc a collaborative and inclusive club once again. As we begin a new era, we are going to be reimplementing a membership fee to help fund events and any future awards we hope to accomplish. The membership fee will be $10 for any new members, valid for two years. For current members, the renewal fee is only $5, also valid for two years. All funds goes directly into ArcHSoc to better our events and our contributions back to our members. Please check out our membership page to pay fees and complete the membership registration form. This information is vital for our continued affiliation with FUSA. We thank you all for your continued support!
